Fall Activites in Full Swing

Fall activities are in full swing here these days!  The Youth Center is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and so many new collaborations are in the works.  On Mondays, the participants are busy at the Brentwood YMCA with tutors from Brentwood Baptist Deaf Church. Living Well started Financial Peace University this week and last week held another CPR class.  There is still room in our ASL and speech-reading classes, and we always have room for more volunteers!

In a quick update, no news yet on our new name or location.  Since our merger with the EAR Foundation last September, the board of directors decided to change the agency’s name to reflect more accurately the folks we serve and the programs we offer.  We could have a new name soon – stay tuned for the news!  As for the building, as the downtown convention center plans move forward (or not!), we will move forward with the relocation. 

And, are you interested in gathering around the big screen to watch the Titans or an old classic movie?  Watch for something really big coming soon…
