The Linda Cowden Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Linda who died in July 2004 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the administrative assistant and liaison to area Deaf clubs for more than 10 years.
The Linda Cowden Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship of $1,000 that will be awarded to:
The Minnie Pearl Scholarship is a four-year, undergraduate scholarship open to D/deaf and hard of hearing students who have been accepted to an accredited four-year college or university in the United States. The Minnie Pearl Scholarship will pay up to $1,000 per year, for four years, for a maximum of $4,000 per person. Scholarship recipients will receive $1,000 per year for four years, payable directly to the school, if a 3.0 cumulative grade point average is maintained. Bridges anticipates offering one scholarship per year.

The Minnie Pearl Scholarship was established in 1986 with the help of Henry and Sarah Cannon (otherwise known as Minnie Pearl).
Acceptance for both the Linda Cowden Memorial Scholarship application and the Minnie Pearl Scholarship application has ended.
